Otsuki Station

Otsuki Station is located at the border with Tokyo in eastern Yamanashi Prefecture and serves as a key terminal connecting the JR Chuo Main Line and the Fujikyu Railway heading toward Mt. Fuji. Many visitors use it as a gateway to the Mt. Fuji area.
The tourist information center next to the station provides transportation details, sightseeing guidance, and multilingual brochures, along with local crafts and Mt. Fuji-themed souvenirs.
The Fuji Excursion Limited Express train runs four round trips daily between Shinjuku and Kawaguchiko, but for other trains, passengers must transfer at Otsuki from JR to the Fujikyuko Line. Otsuki City offers a stamp rally encouraging visitors to enjoy local spots during transfer times, including the wooden Saruhashi Bridge and sightseeing around town.
