This island, connected to Miyako Island's main island by the Kurima Bridge, saw the opening of a full-scale resort hotel in February 2020.

Amidst the natural splendor, the property features 102 private pool-equipped villas, 5 jacuzzi-equipped villa houses, 2 junior suites, and 60 deluxe rooms in the hotel building.
