The Shigira

Offering stylish luxury villas, each with a private outdoor pool and spectacular sea views, The Shigira is located just a 15-minute drive from Miyako Island Airport. Free WiFi access is available in all villas. Sunset cruise, Segway rides, in-room massages and fruits and cocktail services are included.

The spacious villas are air conditioned and come with a living room area with a sofa and a flat-screen TV with a DVD player. A refrigerator, an electric kettle and a coffee machine are also provided. The en suite, semi open-air bathroom comes with bathrobes, a bathtub and a hairdryer.

Each luxurious villa also comes with a sauna, a hot tub and a terrace where guests can enjoy the beautiful ocean view with a glass of wine. Guests can also stretch out on the sun loungers by the swimming pool for a relaxing afternoon.

The Shigira Resort features massages, a free pickup service from Miyako Island Airport and 2 open-air hot spring baths. The 24-hour front desk provides a private check-in/check-out service, while the concierge offers a variety of local information.

Breakfast and dinner are inclusive, and guests can enjoy dining at all 7 of the on-site restaurants. Some of the cuisines available at the resort include Italian, Okinawan, and Chinese. Lunch is not served.

Yonaha Maehama Beach is a 20-minute drive away. Guests can also rent bicycles and explore the surrounding areas.
