Kudaka Island is called 'God's Island' and is regarded as a special place by the people of Okinawa. This is because it is said that Amamikiyo, the ancestral deity who initiated the cultivation that led to the birth of the Ryukyu Kingdom, descended from heaven here, and Okinawa is believed to have originated from this island.Although the secret festival held once every 12 years since the Ryukyu dynasty ceased in 1978 due to a lack of successors, the island's cultural heritage remains significant, and the community center displays valuable photographs from that time. Please be sure to visit the island and enjoy sightseeing!
