Kudaka Island is called 'God's Island' and is regarded as a special place by the people of Okinawa.This is because it is said that Amamikiyo, the ancestral deity who initiated the cultivation that led to the birth of the Ryukyu Kingdom, descended from heaven here, and Okinawa is believed to have originated from this island.Although the secret festival held once every 12 years since the Ryukyu dynasty ceased in 1978 due to a lack of successors, the island's cultural heritage remains significant, and the community center displays valuable photographs from that time.Please be sure to visit the island and enjoy sightseeing! (^^♪ Our facility is just a 5-minute walk from the port!Located near Kudaka Elementary School and the island's post office! There are light meal options and cafes nearby, situated within a residential area. Feel at home at Kudaka Island, relax, and spend leisurely moments engaging in conversations with the island's elders! Relieve the fatigue of daily life and refresh yourself with a sense of rejuvenation and reset! The accommodation is a two-story detached house where the owner couple, who also serve as Kudaka Island's tour guides, live with their parents. With two rooms on the second floor, it can host up to a maximum of six guests. It's a seasonal activity, but you can also experience "sea grape harvesting" at the sea grape farm run by the owner. Some rooms are also equipped with projectors. For guests who want to fully enjoy marine activities, the facility offers spaces to dry equipment, as well as clean shared showers and toilets. The basic plan is room only, but a Japanese breakfast can be added for an additional 1,000 yen per person (cash payment).
