Description
Benesse House was opened in 1992 as a facility that integrates a museum and a hotel with the concept of "coexistence of nature, architecture, and art."
A total of 4 different accommodations, including a "museum" where you can stay inside the museum, an "oval" where you can enjoy the spectacular view of Setouchi, a "park" surrounded by the sea, greenery and art, and a "beach" surrounded by the sound of ripples. In addition to the building, there is a restaurant, cafe, and spa shop. All the architecture was designed by Tadao Ando and is structured to be in harmony with the environment of Setonaikai National Park over time. The long slopes, stairs, passageways, and outside light shining through the cut-out openings invite contemporary art inside and outside the facility to an appreciation experience that can be felt throughout the body.
Rakuten Travel offers rooms for "Park" and "Beach", which were newly established in 2006. Please come to the "Park" front desk for check-in in either accommodation building.
