The Eiheiji Zen Inn Hakujukan utilizes 'Eiheiji Cedar' sourced from the grounds of the 'Eiheiji Temple,' featuring 18 Japanese-Western style rooms, separate large communal baths for men and women, and a restaurant offering Shojin Ryori (traditional Buddhist vegetarian cuisine) supervised by the temple. Positioned as 'a facility between a traditional inn and a temple lodging,' it is an accommodation where guests can experience the spirit of Zen through activities such as zazen meditation.
It is along National Route 8, heading north on the left side of the road. Single rooms also come with semi-double beds. Meal plans are welcome, from long-term stays to sports teams. Washing machines and dryers available.
