This inn was started by our predecessor 40 years ago after moving an old house from Toyama. The building is over 150 years old and features impressive beams. The main dish is local cuisine, with wild boar hotpot as the main dish. Salt-grilled trout, Shinano snow trout and large trout sashimi, Shinshu soba noodles, seasonal tempura, etc. Depending on the plan, you can also add extra wild boar meat or Shinshu salmon sushi. The bath is not a large public bath, but it is a hot spring that you can use completely privately. It is a convenient location for climbing the Yatsugatake Mountains, so there are many climbers. Nearby are Otome Falls in Yokotani Gorge, which is a 10-minute walk away, and Mishaka Pond, which has beautiful reflections, which is a 15-minute drive away. You can enjoy the great outdoors, such as Shirakome Pond, which is a 40-minute drive away. Suwa Taisha (Hongu) is a 30-minute drive away. Please feel free to ask us about nearby sightseeing, mountain climbing, or just chatting. Part of the guest rooms were renovated in the spring of 2025.
