Description

The first ever Olympic snowboard competition was held at Yakebitaiyama during the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. The resort connects to 17 other ski areas, which together form Japan’s largest snow sports region. Shiga Kogen Prince Hotel operates three ski-in ski-out hotels at the base of Shiga Kogen’s largest ski resort, featuring the most advanced lift system and only terrain park in the region.
Japan’s popular hot spring bathing snow monkeys are also just a short trip down the mountain road from the hotel.
