The untouched natural scenery remains, and you can look up at the sharp mountain peaks above your head at a 40-degree angle. It does not have a city feel. The Azusa River, Myojin Bridge, Myojin Pond, etc. are about a 3-minute walk away. In Myojin, there are many scenic spots such as the left bank road of the Azusa River just before Myojin, Myojin, and the mountains from the Azusa River bed at the entrance to Tokumoto Pass. The area around Myojin Shrine is the largest treasure trove of alpine plants in Kamikochi, including colonies of Anemone nirinsou, and 100 species of wild birds have been spotted there throughout the year.
