Description
In addition to popular animals such as koalas and elephants, species that can only be seen here in Japan can be found in this zoo. Also, visitors can touch, pet and feed the goats and sheep at the Honobono Hiroba plaza. In the botanical area, the roller slides that are approximately 100 meters long, are very popular. You can enjoy a pleasant stroll looking at the seasonal flowers. To reach the zoo, first go to the west exit of Keihin Kyuko Line Kanazawa Bunko station, then, take the Keikyu bus going to Nomura Jutaku Center for 12 minutes until you get to Natsuyama-sakaue stop. It's a six-minute walk from there. Express buses go to Kanazawa Zoo on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
