Description
KODOMO NO KUNI opened on May 5, 1965. The 1,000,000-square-meter premises here can be enjoyed in many ways. There is much nature, so you can stroll in the thicket and see animals. You can also enjoy the play square, the lawn square, a miniature steam locomotive, a 110-meter roller slide, miniature exercise equipment, boating at the lake, and a barbecue. There are some 40 milking cows and about 30 sheep pasturing in the stock farm, where you can pet small animals such as rabbits. Soft ice cream made from fresh milk is a popular treat. The many seasonal plants and wild birds here allow nature observation, too. The place is packed with families on weekends. About a two-minute walk from Kodomonokuni Station. Transfer to Kodomonokuni Line at Nagatsuda Station on the JR Tokyu Denentoshi Line.
