A 5-minute walk from Tsurumaki-Onsen Train Station, Jinya Ryokan boasts a traditional multi-course breakfast and indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths. Good access to the hiking trail of Mt. Jinba. The open-air style cypress bath has a view of deep green trees in Mt.Jinba. Inoshishinabe (hot pot cooked with wild boar meat), river fish and horse sashimi are served for meals and they are very popular.
They are proud to provide large communal baths and open-air baths with a view of a clear stream. The three types of kakenagashi (continuous flow) style private baths are popular. Guest rooms are pure Japanese sukiya-style. Some of the guest rooms in the new building have a private cypress bath. A swimming pool is available during the summer.
A long-established inn founded in 1855 loved by a writer Shugoro Yamamoto. All-cypress and lacquered bathtub filled with strong alkaline mineral spring water is appreciated as modern hot-spring cure to sooth the soul of people today.
A small inn. Locally caught river fish and locally picked Sansai (wild plants) are served for meals. You can visit here only for dining upon reservation. Ayu (river fish) set meal and shishinabe (hot pot cooked with wild boar meat) set meal are recommended.
