Take one of the three "pirate ship" ferries across Lake Ashi. This is a fun cruise of about 30-40 minutes across the lake. Relaxing and on clear days you can see Mt Fuji.Visited October 2025 -

Unfortunately we did not have good weather but it was fun and the lake is lovely. Buy a first class ticket it’s only another £3.50 ontop of the Hakone pass and you’ll be sure to get a seat.Visited October 2025
