Shin-Fuji Station

Shin-Fuji Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen offers beautiful views of Mt. Fuji upon exit and is a key base for sightseeing around Mt. Fuji from the Shizuoka side. Travel time is about 1 hour from Tokyo and about 1.5 hours from Nagoya on the Kodama Shinkansen.
The tourist information center on the station’s first floor provides Fuji-area sightseeing details, multilingual brochures, English assistance, and bicycle rentals.
In the summer climbing season, direct buses operate from Shin-Fuji Station to the Fujinomiya 5th Station, reaching it in about 2.5 hours.
You can also reach Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine and the UNESCO-listed Shiraito Falls by local bus or taxi, but bus frequency may be limited, so checking schedules in advance is recommended.
