Although this was a short hike, this was a highlight of the over crowded Mt. Fuji tour loop. It only takes about 10-15 minutes, but I would also recommend going to the ice cave. Both are short lava...Visited June 2025 -

Narusawa Ice Cave and Fugaku wind cave can be visited in less thank 1 1/2 by car from lake kawaguchi or by public bus. The entry price is very cheap. Narusawa has a good origin story and well priced...Visited January 2025 -
