The mountain is often called shy because it is shrouded in clouds. My wife and I were very lucky because the sky was cloudless on the ropeway ride up and the entire time we were at the peak station...Visited October 2024 -

After sailing many times into Yokohama and have see mt. Fuji on distance we take a bustrip and get a very good view of mt. Fuji. 5 Station was closed becausce of the weather but we still hav ea nice...Visited March 2025
