Description
A hotel that reopened in May 2021 and offers authentic Italian cuisine supervised by Italian cuisine master Mario Frittoli.
~Mario Frittoli~
Born in Pavia, Lombardy, whose capital is Milan, Italy in 1966, and raised in Tuscany.
There was a farm restaurant next to the house where he was born, so from an early age he would help out by cooking and tending the fields, and serving the food to his friends, just for fun.
In 1980, he studied for four years at the Instituto Alpeguilo Culinary School.
Since 1984, he has been studying under Mr. Angelo Parachicchi, who is known as the God of Pasta. After that, he worked at a two-star restaurant, Il Carpaccio, and refined his skills under French master Paul Pocuse.
In 1987, he came to Japan as the executive chef of Daimaru in Shinsaibashi, Kyoto. Moved to California, but returned to Japan in 1991.
In 2002, he became independent and jointly opened Ristorante Luxor Shirokanedai.
Then, in 2008, he opened Mario i Sentieri in Nishi-Azabu, where he continues to operate today.
Regular appearance on NHK "Asaichi". He has appeared on many other TV programs and magazines, and is expanding his field of activity.
