Description
Hakusan Park is a Dutch-style garden surrounding a pond, with a landscape of miniature hills, flowers and trees. It's right next to the Niigata Hakusan-jinja Shrine, and was built in 1873 as one of the first public parks in Japan based on the Daijokan Fukoku (Proclamation by the Grand Council of State).
