Annex Kashiwaya

Annex Kashiwaya offers a hot spring bath, a gym and a tennis court, a 10-minute walk or 4-minute drive from Naeba Ski Resort. Ski gear rentals and ski passes are available, while drinks vending machines and free parking are on-site.

Rooms are fitted with air conditioning and heating, and they have a Japanese-style seating area with a tatami (woven-straw) floor and a low table with seating cushions. They come with an LCD TV and either beds or traditional futon bedding. Toilets and bathing facilities are shared.

Depending on the season, guests at Kashiwaya can take part in mushroom picking, grape picking or watching glorious autumn leaf colours. Summer offers events nearby, like a fireworks show and Bon-Odori festival, as well as the Fuji Rock music festival.

For breakfast, the guesthouse offers a choice of a Japanese or Western meal at the dining room. The Japanese breakfast features Uonuma-grown rice. Tea and coffee can be enjoyed at the tearoom.

Kashiwaya Annex is a 30-minute drive from Echigo Yuzawa Station. A free local shuttle service connects to the Naeba Ski Resort in 4 minutes.
