It’s called Takada Castle but is actually the (reconstructed) triple turrets standing beautifully atop a mound within Takada Park. The park itself would be an attraction even without the turrets...Visited March 2019 -

The castle is a standard affair, but due to its location in a beautiful park and the pond with waterlilies worth a visit. Takada park is probably the main sight of Joetsu. Free and ample parking.Visited June 2018
