Description
Towering 1,626 meters high, this active volcano spreads across Miyagi, Akita, and Iwate. The mountaintop commands a 360-degree panoramic vista view of Mt. Chokai, Mt. Gassan, and the Zao Mountain Range. The ground close to the mountaintop is home to an interesting variety of alpine plants.
