This festival is beautiful, fun and a MUST see. Aomori’s festival is also good but I prefer this one as the lantern’s are 23 stories high, the streets are small and the atmosphere awesomeVisited August 2024 -

We visited with my family in January. Convenient and clean exhibits. You can see two story tall Tachi Nebuta. I wish I could learn to color Nebuta there.Visited January 2023 -

We were on a day tour around Aomori and were extremely lucky to see the Tachineputa festival lanterns in the building where they are constructed on site. the video that is shown is very informative...Visited April 2017
