Description
Hotokegaura is one of the best scenic locations in the Shimokita Peninsula. Venture there to discover rock formations that resemble statues of Buddha statues stretching out about 2 km long. The beautiful shapes formed by the rough waves of the Tsugaru Strait, strong winds and heavy snow have an element of mysticism to them. You can get up close to the rock formations by following the walkway.
