Akita Onsen Satomi is a hot spring inn located in a tranquil woodland on the upstream riverbank of the famous downtown area of Kawabata, 4 km from JR Akita Station.
Popularly known as "Satomi Onsen" by the people of Akita, this inn boasts seasonal dishes such as the mysterious natural hot springs "sodium chloride bicarbonate spring" and "sodium chloride spring" that created the beauty of Akita. It's an inn.

It is said to be a "beauty hot spring" because it makes your skin smooth, and is said to be good for rough skin, insect bites, and atopic dermatitis.
The large public baths, which can accommodate more than 100 people at the same time, are the same size for both men and women, and include open-air baths and low-temperature saunas.

It takes 1 hour to Oga and Kakunodate, 1.5 hours to Lake Tazawa and Mt. Chokai, and about 3 hours to Lake Towada.
