Akita Onsen Satomi

Akita Onsen Satomi is a hot spring inn located 4 km from JR Akita Station, in the tranquil countryside along the upstream riverside of the famous entertainment district 'Kawabata.'
Known locally as 'Satomi Onsen,' this inn has been cherished by Akita citizens and boasts a mysterious natural hot spring called 'Sodium Chloride Bicarbonate Spring' and 'Sodium Chloride Spring,' along with seasonal cuisine.

It is said to help with nerve pain, muscle pain, rheumatic diseases, chronic gynecological conditions, and even fertility.
Referred to as the 'Beauty Bath' for its skin-smoothing effects, it is also highly regarded for aiding with skin issues, insect bites, and atopic dermatitis.
The spacious bathing area, capable of accommodating over 100 people at once, is equally large for both men and women and features an open-air bath and a low-temperature sauna.

Located centrally for sightseeing, it is one hour to Oga and Kakunodate, one and a half hours to Lake Tazawa and Mount Chokai, and about three hours to Lake Towada.
