Description
Famed for its marvelous views of fresh spring greenery and autumn foliage is Dakigaeri Gorge, nicknamed the Yabakei (cited as one of the New Three Most Scenic Places of Japan) of Tohoku and distinctive for its blue mountain stream. There are many scenic spots along the well-maintained walkway that is approximately 1.5 km. The trekking course going up to the Mikaeri no Taki Falls that takes about 30 minutes each way is a great opportunity for a casual family stroll.
