Our facility consists of the main building and the Shirakaba-an Villa.Right at the entrance of the main building's lobby, there is a warm wood-burning stove installed.Enjoy tea prepared by our staff from Taiwan and let yourself relax and unwind. The Shirakaba-an Villa, completed in 2020, was designed by Kenta Sano, a disciple of renowned architect Toyo Ito.Mr. Sano, captivated by the beautiful scenery around the villa, aimed to create architecture that blends seamlessly with the landscape and becomes part of the forest.
A dedicated space handcrafted from scratch by the owner, who is also a mountain guide.Operating quietly in a location slightly away from the bustling city center, with the mottos 'A mountain hut in the city' and 'Turning an ordinary day into the best day.'The first floor serves as a restaurant & bar area, providing a space for guests to exchange information with each other or with local regulars.Additionally, all the wood used for the tables is cut from a single tree, creating a unified and warm wooden atmosphere.The restaurant's operating hours are from 6 PM, with last food orders at midnight and last drink orders at 1:30 AM.Outside of operating hours, the space is open to staying guests.
