Description
Hokkaido University, a national institution, opened in 1876 as Sapporo Agricultural College. On its vast, 180-hectare grounds, one can find rows of poplar and Japanese elm trees, Sapporo Agricultural College Farm No. 2 (an Important Cultural Asset), and other interesting spots.
