Former National Railway Hiroo Line Kofuku Station

Description

This station was once part of the Hiroo Line, and entered the national spotlight thanks to a catchy slogan, ”From the Country of Love to Happiness”, a play on the names of two stations in the line. Its wooden construction, wooden platform, and diesel car capture its appearance when it was still in use. There's also a chapel where weddings are held.

A 50-minute trip from Obihiro Station on the Tokachi Bus for Hiroo, then a five-minute walk from Kofuku
