Description
The Ban'ei horse races came about alongside Hokkaido's agricultural development, around the turn of the 20th century. Ban'ei horse races used to take place all over Hokkaido, but now they are held only at the Obihiro Horse Race Track. The facility is fun for the whole family: there's a kids playroom, a nursing room, and a petting zoo where you can pet Ban'ei horses and ponies.
