Description
The overlord of ogres in Japan, King Enma, is enshrined here. At certain times, his eyes light up as he performs his angry ”hell sentencing” animation. During the Hell Festival in August, he is brought out of his temple and paraded around town.
A 15-minute trip from Noboribetsu Station on the Donan Bus for Noboribetsu Hot Spring, then a five-minute walk from the last stop
