Pretty area accessed by car or train from Hakodate. We only stopped on a drive further north, but it would make a good one or two night getaway.Visited November 2024 -

We detour to the park while on the way back to Sapporo from Hakodate. It turned out to be a nice relaxing walk in the park. Beautiful scenery and perfect for some picture taking.Visited October 2024

I went to this park by mistake and it was a lovely way to spend a day! It was a long weekend in Summer so there were market stalls, boat rides, a concert, beautiful scenery, and fireworks.Visited August 2024
