We went here in the mid-afternoon to evening time around Christmas and holy cripes! Although there's not much to it in principle - it's relatively small and can be walked around in an hour easily...Visited December 2024 -

Pretty area accessed by car or train from Hakodate. We only stopped on a drive further north, but it would make a good one or two night getaway.Visited November 2024 -

We detour to the park while on the way back to Sapporo from Hakodate. It turned out to be a nice relaxing walk in the park. Beautiful scenery and perfect for some picture taking.Visited October 2024
