Sounkyo Onsen

Description

Amongst the hot springs in the Daisetsuzan area, this town is the largest and most well-known. You'll find a number of natural attractions in the area, like columnar jointed rock faces in Sounkyo's gorges, and a hiking path / ropeway for climbing Mt. Kurodake.
