Sakuraoka Retreat Lodge Norheim

Norheim is a vacation rental lodge that can be used as a "lodge" that serves as the entrance to Sakuraoka. We renovated a famous building that was built with high airtightness and high insulation, and breathed new value into the Sakuraoka retreat "Lodge Norheim". The site includes a 3-hectare forest where wildflowers grow, a plaza, and a lodge. All of these can be used luxuriously as a private lodge for one group per night.

Norheim aims for nostalgia rather than novelty. Silence rather than glamor. Warmth and calm rather than luxury. A fireplace-type wood stove is characteristic of the interior that makes extensive use of wood and natural materials. Bonfires on the wooden deck and barbecues that use a generous amount of firewood. Chopping firewood on the large earthen floor, motorbike touring through the forest as you weave through the trees, and the view of Sakuraoka from the terrace. Everything is for a tranquil stay where time seems to stop. We want you to spend your time feeling like you are regaining your true self in these anxious times. That is the feeling we put into it.
