LAOX Akihabara Main Store is located in Akihabara, which is the main electronics shopping district in Japan and an area that is also known as the center of the Japanese subculture. This is the largest comprehensive duty-free store in Tokyo, stocking some 70,000 kinds of products, including home appliances, games, hobby items, souvenirs for foreign visitors, watches, and jewelry. The store earnestly pursues quality Japanese products and continues to evolve to become a “Japan-quality” store, leading the globalization of made-in-Japan products. The store has been appointed as a tourist information center for foreign visitors by the Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO). Its concierge offers services in English, Chinese, and Japanese. Sightseeing maps are available, and they will even show you the way to any tourist spot you wish to visit. The store is also convenient for tourists because of its foreign currency exchange machines. It is a two-minute walk from the Electric Town Exit of the JR Akihabara Station or a six-minute walk from the Akihabara Station on the Hibiya Subway Line.
