- Table of Contents
Sushiro: Limited-time take-out items like the “GW 100 yen (110 yen including tax) Neta and Meat Festival” and sushi rolls at home

Sushiro’s “GW 100 yen (110 yen including tax) Neta and Meat Festival” started on April 21st, and makes it easy to enjoy popular dishes for 100 yen during Golden Week! The luxurious lineup includes highlights like “Chutoro,” “Large Cut Eel,” and “Raw King Salmon” at a great price.

For the first time in its history, Sushiro is offering koji rice sushi. This type of sushi uses salted koji rice to bring out the fish's flavor and is available in albacore tuna, salmon, and squid varieties.

Tasty and well-received meat sushi like the heaping “Roast Beef Mountain” and “Teriyaki Hamburger” are also available! Why not try something unique to Sushiro?

Special take-out sets are also available for a limited time so you can enjoy some of the highlights of the seasonal menu at home.

Of course, Sushiro’s wide range of take-out dishes focuses on great deals. Among them, we recommend the “Sushiro Temaki Set (Rice & Seaweed for 2 to 3 servings)” so you can enjoy sushi rolls at home.

Another set of ten popular items like tuna, salmon, and shrimp can be served on rice to make an eye-catching seafood bowl, seafood salad, or a different platter depending on how you arrange it.

Some Sushiro locations now have “self-service lockers” that allow customers to smoothly pick up their orders without coming in contact with the store staff. Of course, the lockers are temperature-controlled to keep meals fresh. Locker orders via the Sushiro app and other conditions apply, so please check the app for further details. Not only is Sushiro’s menu evolving, but so is its service!

Genki Sushi: Pay attention to special offerings like “Super Rare Tuna Festival” and “Grilled Beef”

Genki Sushi is currently holding its “Super Rare Tuna Festival” headlined by “Bluefin Tuna Naka-Ochi” (2 pieces, 242 yen), made of a heaping serving of spine meat on rice, and chopped wasabi-topped “Albacore Fatty Tuna” (1 piece, 110 yen). The festival started on April 12, and limited quantities are available, so it will end when supplies run out – don’t miss out!

Genki Sushi has other spring recommendations like the large shrimp and mayonnaise “Temaki (Ebiten)” (110 yen per piece) and a sizeable serving of salty grilled beef tongue topped with lemon on rice. In total, seven kinds of grilled beef tongue (154 yen per piece) are on sale. Of course, takeout is OK!
*Limited quantities, available while supplies last.
Hanamaru: The “Honmaguro Fair” and an ultra-rare 300g serving of sushi

Hanamaru’s “Honmaguro Fair” is an irresistible treat for tuna lovers, where you can compare different portions of bluefin tuna, made possible by the chain’s “ship to shore” purchase of a whole tuna.
The lineup features many rare cuts like “Thick Sliced Grilled Bluefin Hoppe” with horseradish on thickly sliced “cheek meat,” lightly grilled “Thick Sliced Grilled Bluefin Belly,” and “Thick Sliced Grilled Bluefin Eye Meat,” of which a 100-kilogram tuna only produces a 100-gram serving. (*Shiki Hanamaru only)

Other exciting dishes include “3.0x Honmaguro Maki,” with triple the amount of tuna compared to standard sushi rolls, and “Two-story Lean Bluefin,” with bold double-stacked tuna. The “two-story” lineup also includes big servings of “Two-story Spanish Mackerel” and “Two-story Scallops.” Some items are available for take-out, so you can enjoy these sensational dishes at home and add some excitement to your table!
The Bluefin Fair runs from April 7th (Wednesday) to mid-May and is available for in-store dining, takeout, and delivery.
Participation locations include all Kaiten Sushi Nemuro Hanamaru (in Tokyo, Sapporo, Eastern Hokkaido, and Southern Hokkaido), Machi no Sushiya Shiki Hanamaru, and Tachigui Sushi Nemuro Hanamaru restaurants.
