Clubs are crowded with young people on weekends. Here, I will introduce the unique Japanese club culture.
Disco boom in the 90's.

The unique Japanese club culture bloomed from the end of the 1980s to the beginning of 1990s. People used to spend money like water at clubs since the economy was good then. Dresses emphasizing the body curves and clothes exposing a lot of skin were in fashion in clubs then.
How to enter a club

Many clubs are open from late at night. At the entrance they will ask for a form of identification so make sure to bring your passport. Usually, you will have to get a drink which is not included in the entrance fee.
How to enjoy clubbing

There are no rules on how to club, so enjoy your time however you want. Drink at the bar counter, and go to the floor to dance when you want to. The genre of music varies according to the venue or the event so do check beforehand.
Clubbing in Japan

There are many clubs around Shibuya and Roppongi in Tokyo. Many young people gather during the weekends and party till dawn. Everyone goes for differing reasons, some to de-stress, and others to meet the opposite sex. Most people are well-behaved so it is a safe place for female too.
