1. Where is …?

○○はどこですか？
(…wa do-ko des ka?)

Example places

convenience store: コンビニエンスストア (kon-bi-ni-en-su su-to-a)

station: 駅 (e-ki)

taxi stand: タクシー乗り場 (ta-ku-shī no-ri-ba)

hospital: 病院 (byō-in)

2. Where are we on this map now? (Point at a certain place on a map)

私は今この地図のどこにいますか？
(wa-ta-shi wa i-ma ko-no chi-zu no do-ko-ni i-mas ka?)

3. Can I walk to here? (Point at a certain place on a map)

ここまで歩いていけますか？
(ko-ko ma-de a-ru-i-te i-ke mas ka?)

4. How far away is it from here?

どのぐらい距離がありますか？
(do-no gu-ra-i kyo-ri-ga a-ri mas ka?)

5. How long will it take?

どのぐらい時間がかかりますか？
(do-no gu-ra-i ji-kan ga ka-ka-ri mas ka?)
