Fluffy french toast
Hotel Okura Tokyo is a place that exudes a traditional Japanese beauty, and offers a relaxing environment. This place is famous for its french toast at Dining Café Camellia. It is said that more than 50 years ago, the head chef at the time brought the recipe back from America and made it at the restaurant. The fine, hotel-made sandwich bread is soaked in egg yolk for 24 hours. Afterwards, it is fried in heated, clarified butter until it becomes brownish, and is then thoroughly baked in the oven. It is best eaten when freshly baked to enjoy its soft and bloated souffle-like texture. But first add as much maple syrup and butter as you would like.

Their most popular dish is Half & Half Benedict. You get to savor your standard Eggs Benedict and a Rice Benedict, which was inspired by the usual Japanese breakfast rice with egg, on one plate. Enjoy a rich and delicious quiche
Parlour Ekoda is an Italian bar which serves espresso, and is famous for their high quality sourdough bread. The spinach and ricotta cheese quiche has been served since the bar's establishment in 2006, and uses tart made from fine whole wheat flour as its base. This dish develops a good texture from adding carefully dried tomatoes to the spinach and homemade ricotta cheese, which increases the rich flavor and sweetness of the dish. This order comes with salad, a drink, and three kinds of store-baked bread slices. They have french bread, focaccia, and nut-filled bread among others, so the kind of bread you will be served is something to look forward to. Their beautiful crema espresso is also a must-try.
