부부 둘이서만 운영하는 객실 3개 규모의 료칸. 전망 좋은 테라스에 마련된 널찍한 객실 '미즈키', '나쓰미', '가오리'는 나무와 와시(전통 일본 종이)와 다다미가 아늑한 분위기를 연출하는 일본풍의 모던한 공간이다. 부지 내의 원천에서 끌어온 온천도 즐길 수 있다.
Established in 1666, Honke Bankyu is housed in a registered historical building. The Japanese rooms feature traditional decor, futon bedding and a flat-screen TV. The hotel has 5 hot-spring baths and serves local specialities for dinner. Shoji paper screens, tatami (woven-straw) floors and views of greenery add to the zen flavour of each air-conditioned room. A yukata robe is provided. All rooms have a private toilet, and some rooms have a private bathroom. The hotel is a 30-minute drive from Yunishikawa-Onsen Train Station. Heike Village Museum is just a 10-minute walk away. Ryuokyo Canyon is a 40-minute drive, and Nikko Toshugu Shrine is 50 km away. A private hot-spring bath can be reserved, for a fee. You can relax at the library, take a stroll in the garden or browse the unique items in the gift shop. Japanese style breakfast and set-menu dinner are served at the hotel’s dining room.
객실은 넓은 정원을 감상할 수 있도록 배치했다. 아쿠타가와 류노스케에 관한 서적도 많이 보유하고 있으며, 식사는 정말 맛있는 본고장의 맛만 선보이겠다는 일념으로 제공하고 있다.
