지치부 후다쇼(사찰 순례 34개소) 순례를 하는 오헨로의 거점으로 오래 전부터 이용되어 온 숙소이다. 아라카와 강의 지류인 요코제 강과 인접하고 있으며 료칸으로서의 인기도 높다. 온천탕은 어깨 결림, 류머티즘 등에 효과가 있다고 한다.
