Example Calculation (with a 7% discount)
For an eligible item priced at ¥33,000 (tax included):
- After the 7% coupon discount: ¥30,690 (tax included)
- Purchases through October 31, 2026: the consumption tax (10%) is exempted at the register, so you pay approx. ¥27,900
- Purchases from November 1, 2026: you pay ¥30,690 at the register, and the consumption tax amount (approx. ¥2,790) is refunded after the procedure when you leave Japan

This coupon is available not only to international tourists but also to Japanese nationals living overseas who are temporarily returning to Japan. For purchases made on or after November 1, 2026, the main conditions for tax-free shopping are as follows.
*Purchases made on or before October 31, 2026 follow the previous system. Eligibility for the tax exemption is ultimately confirmed in-store. For details, see the Japan Tourism Agency's page for travelers (in Japanese).
A. The coupon is valid at over 300 tax-free stores nationwide. In addition to our major brands like LABI, Tecc Land, and Tecc LIFE SELECT, it can also be used at Best Denki.
A. Simply present the coupon screen on your smartphone. Please set your screen brightness to maximum so the barcode can be easily scanned at the register.
A. You need your original passport. Photocopies and photos are not accepted. Japanese nationals living overseas also need proof of overseas residence (see Q4).
A. Yes. For purchases from November 1, 2026, you must have lived overseas for 2 years or more as of your last entry into Japan, and present a Certificate of Residence or a copy of your Family Register Supplement (each issued on or after the date six months before your last entry), or your My Number Card (including the smartphone version). If you meet the tax-free conditions, this coupon's discount can also be applied.
A. For purchases made on or after November 1, 2026, you pay the tax-inclusive price in store, have customs check your purchases when you leave Japan (before checking in your luggage), and then receive a refund of the consumption tax amount. You must leave Japan within 90 days of purchase. If even one item from the same receipt is not with you, none of the items on that receipt will be refunded. This coupon's discount of up to 7% continues to be applied immediately at the register.
A. Apple products and game consoles can be purchased tax-free if the tax-free requirements are met. However, they are not eligible for this coupon's discount of up to 7% (they are included in the list of excluded items).
A. No, you can use the coupon as many times as you like at eligible stores until the expiration date.
A. Yes, it is available at stores in Narita Airport and others. However, please be aware that the product selection at airport locations may be limited.
A. Available payment methods vary by store. Please check with the store about the payment method you plan to use.
A. Yes, if the tax-free requirements are met (such as a minimum of 5,000 yen excluding tax per store per day). For purchases from November 1, 2026, general goods and consumables are no longer treated separately, and the purchase limit and special sealed packaging for consumables are abolished. Note that if any item from a receipt is not with you when you leave Japan, none of the items on that receipt will be refunded. Some stores may not carry pharmaceuticals or cosmetics.
A. The discount is applied to the displayed store price. However, it may not be combined with limited-quantity specials or clearance items.
