The familiar bus guide's "We made it!!" course has a theme of "Art" this year! At Shoren-in Temple, enjoy the innovative lotus sliding door paintings and famous garden in the guest hall, "Kachoden." At Nishijin Kosho-ji Temple, which has ties to the military commander and tea master Furuta Oribe, enjoy the deep blue sliding door paintings "Seiha," the dragon on the ceiling, and the garden. The ceiling of the main hall of Sonyo-in Temple, a subtemple of Honpo-ji Temple, has beautifully colored Asagi Butterflies painted on all four corners. Enjoy the "art" of the temples!
