Overview
  • This is a customised tour for you (approx. 2.5-3hs) and is suitable for tourists who enjoy exploring or are interested in Japanese culture, history and food.
  • I’ll make your course following your interests.
  • Please let me know your requests.
  • I need to discuss your course so be sure to check the emails from me!
  • When communication seems impossible, you may be asked to cancel your booking. Please understand.
  • (You'd use public transportation.)
  • Tokyo is well served by public transport, making it very convenient for tourists to get around the city centre. However, it could sometimes be complex, and English signs (product instructions, etc.) are supplementary so international tourists might get confused at first.
  • When I pick you up, I tell you how to use public transport most conveniently.
What to expect

This is a walking tour. At first, the manners in shrines and temples are explained. Site A: Ueno Toshogu This is the gorgeously decorated shrine of Shinto (Japan’s ethnic religion) which was established in 1627. There's a five-story pagoda beyond the fence. IMPORTANT: As this is a private and personalised experience, the places you visit may differ from those listed and these will be chosen by your host based on your interests and preferences.
