Shirakawago has 114 thatched-roof Gassho zukuri houses standing in rows between rice paddies, and its simple and beautiful appearance is called “the original landscape of Japan”. In Gujo, known as the birthplace of food samples, visitors can easily make food samples with the careful assistance of staff in Japan's and the world's first food sample making experience. The Retro Art Museum, where you can enjoy a variety of nostalgic retro items, is the only tourist facility in Japan that combines retro and food sample art, which can only be expressed at Sampler Kobo under the theme of “nostalgia”. Gujo Hachiman is called the castle town of clear streams and famous water, and its quaint old streets still remain.
