- Visit World Heritage Site Shiragawa-go in Gifu Prefecture with the largest scale of thatched roof houses, which is called “Gassho-zukuri”. The houses are capped with snow during cold time in winter and the scenery is just like a fairy-tale!
- Go to the off-beaten-track gassho-zukuri farmhouse group Suganuma of Gokayama located in Toyama Prefecture with rich natural resources.
