Sendai Umi-no-Mori Aquarium has about 100 tanks, displaying about 300 species and 50,000 marine creatures. The huge tank "Shining Life Ocean" with a width of 13 meters and a height of 6.5 meters recreates the ocean of the Sanriku region, which is very spectacular. Visitors can also get close to South Sea Lions and Humboldt Penguins at the "Sea Animal Square". The relaxed itinerary is fun for all ages.
