* The ski resorts around the center of Sapporo are very popular because of their convenient transportation and cheap accommodation. * Teine Ski Resort is open for half-day courses (the official website has a bus schedule from Teine Station to the ski resort) * Teine Snow Resort has the thickest snow and is also the largest ski resort around Sapporo. It takes about 40 minutes to 1 hour to arrive from Sapporo. * Bankei is the closest ski resort in Sapporo and can be reached in about 15-20 minutes. * Mount Moiwa is a ski resort only for skis and can be reached in about 20-25 minutes.
