• Not only fishing, but also sightseeing from the lake is recommended. In addition to viewing Ukimido and Shirahige Shrine from the lake, it is also possible to land on Okishima Island, which can only be reached by boat. The Okishima sightseeing tour also includes a visit to Okutsushima Shrine and a stroll through the streets that will make you feel as if you have stepped back in time.
• Normally, the half-day tour lasts 4 hours and the full-day tour lasts 9 hours, but from November to February, the tour time is shortened to 3.5 hours for the half-day tour and 8 hours for the full-day tour.

Ukimido is called Haemonzan Manwolsa Temple. It is said that it was built in the Heian period by Monk Hye-sim to pray for safety on the lake and the prosperity of the people. The present building was reconstructed in Showa 12 and was repaired in Showa 57 and retains the old atmosphere. The statue of the Holy Kannon, an important cultural property, is enshrined in the Kannon Hall in the precinct.
